Several party leaders on social media platform X hailed the decision and called it as a testament to the supremacy of the Constitution.
Sunita promised that once voted to power, the AAP would bring transformation in the state with facilities such as round-the-clock power supply, quality schools, hospitals, and Mohalla Clinics, and would pay 1,000 rupees per month to the women.
She further highlighted that Kejriwal has given five guarantees to the people, and they are being fulfilled in Delhi and Punjab.
She criticised the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Haryana government over its unfulfilled promises and neglect to the state's development needs.
Lashing out at the BJP, Sunita Kejriwal said the government was trying to defame the chief minister elected by the people.
She promised that if elected, the party would provide free, round-the-clock electricity, high-quality education, healthcare facilities, financial support for women, and employment opportunities for the youth.
The meeting was held at the official residence of the Delhi chief minister in the presence of party's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha.
