In this context, the CMD, directors and CVO of the POWERGRID led a walkathon to spread awareness as part of VAW 23 celebrations on 30 October 2023.

The celebrations commenced with the pledge ceremony in the Board Room of the Bank at Head Office Rajendra Place New Delhi, where the “Integrity Pledge” was administered to the staff, by the worthy MD & CEO, Executive Directors, and Chief Vigilance Officer.
After the pledge, a street corner play (Nukkad Natak) was staged on the Bank premises by LHO staff members, based on the story “Namak ka Daroga” written by Munshi Prem Chand.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Monday virtually administered the 'Integrity Pledge' to all officers of the state on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week.
Manoj Sinha administered the integrity pledge to administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, heads of departments, senior officers and officials to mark the beginning of the Vigilance Awareness Week across the UT of J&K.
He conducted a meeting of the staff in which he emphasized on need of awareness among staff against corruption in day to day routine and told about the different activities which would be performed during the campaign.
The observance of the week commenced with all the employees taking the Integrity Pledge which was administered by ShriSujoyDutta, Zonal Manager, New Delhi Zone, UCO Bank.
This year the Vigilance Awareness Week is celebrated on the theme “75 years of Independence: Self Reliance with Integrity”.
