Organised at the Rajni Kumar Hall of Friendship and Peace at the school premises, the event turned out to be a grand-gala affair
Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, on Sunday organized its Annual Athletic Meet-2023 amid great enthusiasm at its ground here.
Dr. Jyoti Bose, Director, Springdales Schools called the festival a celebration of the power of music and song as a universal symbol of emotions, feelings and the fact that songs transcend barriers of time and language.
The Annual Report was presented by Mrs. Ritu Madan, Principal along with Mrs. Sujata Maleyvar , Headmistress Junior School and Junior Prefects.
Chief Guest, Ms Vanita Uppal, in her speech implored the students to be themselves and have the courage of conviction as they had the power to change the world by standing up for their beliefs.
This occasion had held since 1989 and it celebrates the ideals of Shri Yudister Kumar, the architect of Springdalian Education whose vision of a world governed by friendship and mutual understanding resonates in the heart of each Springdalian.
Almost 2600 students, accompanied by 60 special students from Nai Disha Special School, Tamanna Special School, and School of Hope participated in the programme.
The programme was held in the presence of Justice (Retd) Ajit Prakash Shah, former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court and Chairman, Springdales School, Pusa Road.
Mr Sanjay Goel, IAS, Director of Education & Sports, Government of NCT of Delhi attended the function as the Chief Guest of the occasion.
