In an endeavour to pay heartfelt tributes to its beloved founder Dr. Rajni Kumar, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, on Thursday organised a special assembly, on her 103rd birth anniversary.
The annual assembly, held in fond remembrance of the school’s founder Y Kumar, reflected the institution’s guiding philosophy of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam” - The World is One Family.

Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Secretary, CBSE, New Delhi presided over the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
The blood donation camp was organised by the Interact Club of Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, from 8.30 am to 2.00 pm in the school premises.
The occasion was graced by the Members of the Managing Boards of DK and Pusa Road, Springdales Education Society, and Old Springdalian Association, who shared their fond association with the great visionary and pioneer in the field of education.
The event was attended by Lara Swart, Counsellor-Political, South African High Commission, school’s management, staff, students, alumni, former-teachers and the founder members. Priti Mehra, Officiating Principal welcomed the guests
He made these remarks at the annual event — Dr A. K. Saha Memorial Young Scientist Experimental Project, an interschool scientific event organised by Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan.
The festival is a tribute to the late Mrs. Kusum Verma, head of the English Department at Springdales School. Her passion for the language and her ability to inspire generations of students continue to be celebrated through this annual event.
