Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, on Sunday organized its Annual Athletic Meet-2023 amid great enthusiasm at its ground here.
Dr. Jyoti Bose, Director, Springdales Schools called the festival a celebration of the power of music and song as a universal symbol of emotions, feelings and the fact that songs transcend barriers of time and language.
The Annual Report was presented by Mrs. Ritu Madan, Principal along with Mrs. Sujata Maleyvar , Headmistress Junior School and Junior Prefects.
The programme started with an invocation dedicated to the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
In a tribute to Dr Mandela, the audio-video presentation Mandela Day – The Next Chapter reflected on the timeless lessons and leadership traits from his life story.
Along with singing, the septuagenarian entertainer kept the audience engaged with constant interaction laced with humour that left the gathering splitting their sides with laughter.
The Chief Guest, Mr Kataria, suggested that the community at large should come together and work in alliance with the Govt. to make India a cent percent literate country.
The rich tradition and culture of India was showcased through a beautiful Bharatnatyam dance performance. The singers enchanted the visitors as they serenaded a medley of songs.
