Since Saturday, 362 new COVID-19 cases have been reported from across the country, with two deaths - one each in Kerala and Karnataka.

Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
The Health Ministry said that a total of 27,66,93,572 people have been vaccinated so far in the country.
Active cases are the lowest after 74 days in the country. Recovery has increased to 96.16%, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The aim of the exercise in the Health Ministry is to distribute masks to all employees posted in the Ministry starting with the frontline workers and eventually moving to other staff.
Moreover, the number of doctors in community health centers has also been significantly increased in view of the need to further strengthen health management
