Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
Across Europe, countries like Italy, UK, France, Germany etc are having 20,000 to 40,000 cases per day in recent times.
It has led to a section of people questioning the HP govt's move to reopen schools.
'In the present situation amid Covid-19 pandemic, technology has played the most significant role,' PM said.
It is not only India, but the dragon country has also suspended visitors from Britain, France, Belgium, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
'I am well and without symptoms but will self-quarantine over the coming days, in line with @WHO protocols, and work from home,' he said.
