The third anniversary celebrations of the Himachal Pradesh government today witnessed a notable absence, as Congress stalwart and former HPCC Chief Pratibha Singh and her son, PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, skipped the party’s Jansampark Sammelan at Mandi.
Kumar resigned from Deputy Speaker's post on Saturday. He pipped other contenders including Education minister Rohit Thakur and MLAs Kuldeep Rathore, Suresh Kumar, Ashish Butail and Vinod Sultanpuri.
She emphasised that the formation of the Congress government in the state was made possible through the tireless efforts of party workers, who, she said, must be respected at every level.
She emphasized that India must not bow to pressure from any foreign power in dealing with terrorism originating from Pakistan.
As part of this effort, she will visit all districts in the state and hold meetings with block-level leaders and workers, he said.
“Most of the Congress leaders are out on bail. National Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul, State President Pratibha Singh and her son Vikramaditya Singh and MLA Asha Kumari are among leaders who are out on bail,” BJP state president, Himachal Pradesh, Suresh Kashyap.
She has said that the Modi government at the Centre cannot influence the judicial system of the country and the Congress has full faith in the judicary of the country.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, she has asked the government to take stock of the damage and provide financial help to the affected families.
Pratibha Singh further directed the officials of the Transport Department to run additional buses for the remote and inaccessible areas.
If the BJP government does not restore this plaque, then the Congress party will restore the plaque at the same place as soon as it comes into power in Himachal.
