Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
"Enabling doctors to communicate effectively, providing them tangible support from the administration/seniors, mental health problem screening, making quarantine/isolation less restrictive and ensuring interpersonal communication and proactively curtailing the misinformation/rumour spread by the media are some of the potential measures."
To date, 3,736,959 cases have been officially registered in Germany since the onset of the pandemic early last year.
The weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.57%.
Speaking to the media, George said their only agenda would be to help people who have passed away in the state during the pandemic and they have nothing to hide.
The relief will include employment, skill development, financial help and linkage with various development schemes.
