Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
Worldwide IT spending is projected to total $4.2 trillion in 2021, an increase of 8.6 per cent from 2020.
With these figures, the country accumulated a total of 1,590,887 cases and 34,016 deaths.
The state government has also exceeded targets in several welfare schemes, including Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and Chief Minister Youth Self Employment Scheme.
This is the 36th consecutive day when India reported less than one lakh new coronavirus cases.
