The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
The increase in count has posed a bigger challenge in ensuring all Covid protocols are strictly followed. Several Vande Bharat flights landed at NSCBI airport including chartered flights bringing Indians from Middle East and other countries.
