Jain had made a surprise visit to the Delhi government-run hospital. He also asked the hospital to make sure that no patient is rejected.
“I have tested positive for Covid-19 today. I have home isolated myself. All those who came in contact with me recently please take necessary precautions,” he tweeted.
He informed that the state government will be writing to the Centre asking journalists to be treated as frontline workers and be allowed vaccination on priority.
He said that the Delhi Government is writing to the Central Government in this regard.
