On the occasion of 79th Independence Day, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, on Thursday organised a special assembly that stirred the spirit of patriotism among its students and faculty, which was graced by Deputy Director of Education, Government of NCT, Manish Jain, as the chief guest.
While addressing the gathering, Jain emphasized the significance of freedom and the duties that come with it. In his speech, he urged the students to celebrate freedom not just through ceremonies but through everyday actions, highlighting the importance of responsibility and civic engagement.

The assembly featured a series of thought-provoking presentations, including articles, poetry enactments, and narratives that reflected on the challenges facing the nation.
Further, the student’s performances, such as “Azaadi Ki Udaan” and the energetic dance “Jai Ho,” filled the air with patriotic fervor. The finale song, “Lehraa Do,” left a patriotic impression on the audience, conveying a powerful message of unity and resilience.
Director of Springdales Schools, Dr. Jyoti Bose, complimented the students for their meaningful program, reminiscing about the relentless efforts of countless heroes who fought for India’s freedom.
Adding to the event, the highlight of it was the Pledge that was administered by the School Captain, reaffirming faith in the country’s diverse and secular fabric.
The celebration served as a reminder of the legacy of freedom, equality, and peace envisioned by India’s freedom fighters, and it inspired the youth to carry forward this legacy.
