Family members and relatives also alleged that their newborn child was replaced by a dead infant, which was shown to them by staff of the 'Matri-Maa' ward of the hospital.
The 90 who had been staying in Kalimpong block 1 and 2, boarded the buses at the Mela Ground where they were also provided food in the morning, along with packet lunch for their trip.

Sources say that the revamp follows the recent protest of junior doctors across the state, following the physical assault on a junior doctor in the NRS Medical College in Kolkata by relatives of a patient.
