With yet another processions scheduled on Tuesday in the city agitating junior doctors have threatened to intensify their protest programme till their 10-point demands
Commissioner of city police Manoj Verma on Monday said that necessary action would be taken against the agitating junior doctors for holding a sit-in protest at Esplanade, violating Section 163 in the area.
Amid the ongoing hunger strike by junior doctors, that started yesterday, senior doctors have decided to join the protest in solidarity.
The agitators started their protest at Dorina Crossing at Esplanade till the administration solved their unresolved demands within the stipulated deadline.
On 30 September, the Supreme Court during hearing had put on record that “… all doctors have resumed duties and shall perform essential services including IPD and OPD”.
