In a major crackdown, the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the outer north district arrested five drug peddlers, seizing 620 grams of heroin that holds a market value of Rs 1.25 crore, the Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
The operation, conducted on Sunday by a team from the Dholai Police Station, resulted in the interception of a consignment containing 30,000 Yaba tablets in the Katakhal area.
Five peddlers, including two foreign nationals, were also arrested separately for supplying drugs to high-profile clients.
The consignment was recovered from four drug peddlers arrested from Balasore Railway Station Road.
Acting on a tip off, the STF flanked by local police conducted a raid and intercepted the accused person- Sk Rafiq (a native of Panchkula in West Bengal) with the drug haul.
