Launched a scathing attack on the TMC, Dilip Ghosh has accused the Mamata Banerjee-led party of institutionalising corruption, extortion and political violence across West Bengal.
West Bengal Panchayat, Rural Development and Animal Resources Development Minister Dilip Ghosh on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the previous Trinamul Congress (TMC) administration, alleging that “threat culture”, corruption and administrative irregularities had crippled governance in the state for years.
According to Ghosh, the previous administration failed to adequately respond to public grievances and neglected issues affecting ordinary people across the state.
Amid the ongoing demolition operations, Dilip Ghosh issued a strong warning against illegal occupation of public land, asserting that bulldozers would be used wherever unlawful structures are found.
The FIR was registered on May 15 at the Bidhannagar North Cyber Crime Police Station against Abhishek Banerjee over alleged provocative and threatening remarks delivered during election rallies across West Bengal.
"A party like TMC has no vision and hence they are criticizing it. Trinamul believes in daan khairati(donation) politics. Instead of creating industries for generating employment, it is only creating contractual positions instead of permanent job creation. Central government sent funds to Bengal for several projects but TMC is either looting it or using it for donations to purchase votes”
Senior BJP leader Mr Dilip Ghosh, on election campaign in Chandannagar, lashed out at the state Chief Minister and said Didimoni (the state chief minister) has not only cheated the Singur farmers but the educated jobless youths of the district. There are no job opportunities for the educated youths in the state. Chief minister scattered mustard seeds on Singur land but till now it remains barren with no crop cultivation.
“Even TMC supporters came here, more than 200 supporters, to obstruct our movement but they were allowed there. I and my guards were prevented, "
"I am getting several calls. I have told everybody that I am not leaving the party on my own wish. I am a common member of the party and I shall play the role of 'bibek' (conscience) in the party. Had I decided to leave the party, I would have leaked many secret things but it is not happening now,"
"The so-called 'secular' government of West Bengal, which runs to Tripura and Assam at the drop of a hat when something happens there, is totally silent on the issue of Bangladesh violence..."
