Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav on Thursday said that the loss of lives in the fire incident at Palam on Wednesday could have been averted with alert rescue operations.
In an appeal to Delhi's residents, Yadav said the forthcoming by-election is the time for the people to come forward and teach a lesson to the two parties, accusing them of indulging in only vote bank politics.
