Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said the government will not spare anyone who takes the administration for a ride and the law will take its own course.
Globally 13,070,097 people have been infected with the virus while 5,72,411 have died due to it according to Johns Hopkins University tracker.

Referring to statistics, Priyanka Gandhi said that the number of cases was 1,347 on July 10, 1,403 on July 11 and 1,388 on July 12.
