Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.

More than 4,600 additional COVID-19 beds were created in Delhi by attaching around 40 hotels to various hospitals.
Raj Bhavan in a statement said, 'Three out of 38 persons who were tested for Coronavirus infection turned positive. They have been shifted to hospital for treatment.'
