A case has been registered under Sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 336 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 337 (causing hurt to any person by doing any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life, or the personal safety of others) and 338 (causing grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code.

India reports second monkeypox case from Kerala

As per Kerala Health minister's office, a 31-year-old male has been infected with the virus. He is undergoing treatment in Pariyaram Medical College Kannur. "One more monkeypox confirmed in Kerala. The 31 year old man from Kannur is currently undergoing treatment at Pariyaram Medical College. The patient's health condition is reported to be satisfactory," said Kerala Health Minister Veena George.
