BJP slams Kejriwal for running Delhi govt from jail
Kejriwal is currently in Tihar Jail under judicial custody. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.
Sharad Pawar gave shock to everyone when he made Supriya Sule and Praful Patel presidents of the Nationalist Congress Party this announcement was made at an event of celebration of the 24th founding anniversary of the NCP.
The announcement was made in the presence of Ajit Pawar, who was a key player in NCP president race.
After this important decision he said, “The situation in the country is such that it would have been wrong to give the responsibility of all states to only one person,” Mr Pawar told reporters that, after appointing Praful Patel and Supriya Sule as NCP working presidents. The NCP chief said his nephew already handles a lot of responsibilities. Ajit Pawar is the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra assembly. He is known to show revolutionary streaks.

It is well known that Ajit Pawar supported the BJP in 2019 and became Deputy Chief Minister. Rumours are that Ajit Pawar is upset about not being given any responsibility.
Whereas Praful Patel talking to the media said that “I have been working alongside Pawar saheb since 1999. So, this is nothing new for me. Of course, I am happy at being elevated as working president. I will continue to work to increase the footprint of the party,” he has also given charge of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Goa, and Rajya Sabha.
This major judgment was a reflection of the recent party status that has lost power both in Maharashtra and at the Centre. The NCP lost its national party status in April after the Election Commission concluded that the party no longer satisfied the condition of state party status in Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Manipur.
