A woman went to watch a film with her family. She never came home. Now, nearly 18 months later, the actor whose arrival sparked the chaos has been summoned to face trial.
The teaser dropped on June 12, eight days before it was supposed to. By the same afternoon, Salman Khan's lawyers were in Delhi High Court seeking an urgent stay. The director has since said he will not stop.
She further explained that while she’s fine with folding and ironing clothes, the actual process of doing laundry overwhelms her. “Too many buttons, too many choices."
Sporting a gritty, unconventional look complete with a golden tooth, thick grey beard, vintage-style metallic sunglasses, Rampal’s character is instantly arresting.
As soon as the first look dropped, fans rushed to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions. Some called it “Ranveer’s most badass look ever”.
Directed by 'Uri' filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, promising a power-packed ensemble.
“I aspire to do something like that very soon. Maybe in a couple of years,” he shared. “I want to be in a place where I can say: ‘Let’s collaborate, but I’ll only work for eight hours.’”
