Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and party candidate from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat Kuldeep Kumar on Saturday claimed that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been implicated in a false case by the BJP and put in jail.
Kejriwal further said that Delhi CM is a "Sher" (lion) and nobody can break him, neither can make him bow, and he is the true son of "Bharat Maa" (mother India).
Sharpening his attack, Sachdeva alleged that the CM residence served as the epicentre for orchestrating corruption, due to which the development of Delhi is getting stalled.
On Saturday, the AAP began the third phase of its campaign, led by Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Mrs Sunita Kejriwal.
The event held at the Qutub Minar premises witnessed a grand celebration of democracy. It underscored the importance of voter education and participation in elections.
Shakiluzzaman Ansari, president of the body said, "the Prime Minister himself calls that he is from the OBC community and he knows the problems of the community as well. We hope that Prime Minister will accept the demand of the community."
Issuing advisory and circular in this regard, the law department sought all temples for display on notice boards for non-solemnization of child marriages. The notices should display and mention that marriage before the legally permissible age is an offence and no child marriage should be solemnized in the temples, said an official of the law department.
