Himachal minister approaches speaker invoking anti-defection law against 3 MLAs
The three MLAs' petition is pending in the high court against the Speaker for not approving their resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
Two girls reportedly died under mysterious circumstances at their rented room on Wednesday night in Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, around 240 km from here.
Both the girls were the students of MBA 4th semester in Government Degree College, Dharamshala and they were resident of Hamirpur district. The girls identified as Diksha (22) and Vandana (21) were staying together at rented accommodation in Sakoh area of Dharamshala.
Police said Diksha informed their landlord at 1 am about her roommates ill health after which they were taken to Zonal Hospital. But on their way to hospital, Diksha collapsed and she died at the hospital.

While Vandana was referred to Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda where she too died due to the ailment.
Police said the girls had told their landlord that they had taken some medication, however, nothing serious medication which could result in their death was recovered from their accommodation.
Their bodies have been sent for postmortem and we are awaiting their autopsy reports to ascertain the exact cause behind their death. Sources said it could be a case of accidental poisoning, though the forensic examination could reveal the reason for their death.
