People in Delhi woke up to a humid morning on as the minimum temperature settled at 25.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.

According to a MeT department official, the relative humidity was recorded at 86 per cent at 8:30 AM.

The Palam, Aya Nagar, Lodhi Road, Safdarjung and Ridge observatories reported rainfall of 18.9 mm, 10.2 mm, 6.2 mm, 5.9 mm and 2.0 mm respectively over the past 24 hours, he said.

"Skies are expected to remain cloudy. Light rain or drizzle may occur in some areas of the national capital. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius," the official added.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 31 degrees and 25.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
