The voting started at a brisk note but due to heatwave conditions, it became dull during afternoon.
In 12 constituencies, the average percentage of voting was 57.88 per cent which was 6.15 per cent less than the previous LS polls of 2019 (64.02 pc) and 3.79 pc low of 2014 (61.66 pc).
