Highlighting the country's growth, he said, “We are no longer the nation defined by its potential. We are a nation realising its potential. We are a nation enabling global powers to realise their potential."
During the interaction in the Parliament House, Dhankhar highlighted significant initiatives taken in the country for women-led development.
Speaking at the 125th Founders Day celebrations of the Hindu College under the University of Delhi, the VP said, “For far too long, our systems had remained plagued with corruption and patronage.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 84th All India Presiding Officers' Conference in Mumbai, the VP said curbing it is not optional but an absolute necessity to save the sanctity of the legislature.
Prem Bai Kunjam and Milan Uikey from Bagrum Nala village, Dhamtari, shared with Vice President Dhankhar the success story of their group producing exquisite Dubraj rice, priced at Rs 120 per kilogram.
Speaking at the presentation of the SCOPE awards here, Dhankhar said, “Public sector is our pride. It is the spine of the Indian economy.”
The vice-president was scheduled to attend the 8th Convocation of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu as chief guest.
