The conference conveyed a clear worldwide message that traditional healing systems of medicine are not merely based on belief but can form a foundation for the future of global healthcare, when supported by scientific research and evidence.
Extending her best wishes to all participants, Prof. (Dr.) Sadhvi Devapriya said that “the journey of Naad from Anahata to Ahata is an important discipline that connects the spiritual, scientific, and artistic dimensions of music.”
The event was aimed at highlighting the scientific nature, utility and relevance of naturopathy in the modern health context, and to create awareness about it among students and society.
University student Yashasvi Thakur secured second place in the State-Level Solo Classical Dance Competition, setting a remarkable example of Patanjali University’s excellence in talent and cultural values.
Acharya Balkrishna stated that the festival was specially organised to mark the 11th International Day of Yoga.
An announcement to this effect was made by Dr Toran Singh, the Dean of the Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.
On the occasion, Jain Muni Prasanna Sagar Ji Maharaj said Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna are selflessly working for the health of humanity, the prosperity of society, and the harmony of the world.
The MoU was formally signed by Vice Chancellor of the University of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna, and Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Technical University, Prof. Onkar Singh.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Indian culture and traditions are rooted in ancient scriptures, which encompass deep knowledge in science, yoga, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy.
