Students of Patanjali University have once again showcased their exceptional talent at the national level, achieving a remarkable feat in Yogasana sports. The university, known for promoting yoga, Ayurveda, and Indian knowledge traditions, continues to make steady progress in both academics and sports.
In the recently held Asmita–Khelo India Women’s Yogasana League National Yogasana Championship (2025–26), two students of the university—Pinky and Manisha, both from the first year of M.A.—delivered outstanding performances under the guidance of yoga coach Dr. Aarti Pal.

They won the gold medal in the artistic group Yogasana competition. The championship was held in Delhi from March 29 to 31, 2026. Pinky and Manisha were selected from the North Zone.
The duo impressed the judges with their balance, flexibility, coordination, and impactful presentation. For their achievement, they were awarded gold medals along with a cash prize of ₹75,000.
Through this initiative, women athletes from across the country get the opportunity to participate in competitions at various levels—district, state, zonal, and national. The primary objective is to empower women, boost their confidence, and ensure their physical and mental development through sports. The initiative not only promotes sports but also strengthens national campaigns like “Fit India” and women’s empowerment.
Following this success, an atmosphere of joy and celebration prevails across the university campus. Teachers and students have described it as a moment of pride for the entire institution. Yogasana is rapidly emerging as a competitive sport, and this achievement by Patanjali University students will serve as an inspiration for others.
