Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on the birth anniversary of Roy Saheb Thakur Panchanan Barma, wrote in her X handle in Bengali that the government is responsible for the development of Rajbanshi culture and to make the memory of Thakur Panchanan Barma eternal.

International Matua Parishad, the global association of Matua community, has given an ultimatum and deadline to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to apologise for her recent mispronunciation of the names of the two spiritual leaders of the community.

According to the new schedule, the Maths exam will be held on 16 April while Economics and Computer Science will be conducted on 18 and 19 April respectively. The Commercial Law paper will be held on 20 April while the Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Biology will be conducted on 22 April, 23 April, 26 April and 27 April respectively. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination will be held on 30 April instead of 23 April.
