In a continued effort to empower the ex-servicemen (ESM) through their induction into the country’s workforce, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (MoD) under the aegis of the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), is organizing a job fair for ex-servicemen at Chatrapati Shivaji Auditorium, Ahmedabad Military Station, Gujarat, on Friday.
The Mega Job Fair-2025 organised by the Indian Youth Congress on Saturday in Patna was successful, with a strong turnout from both job seekers and employers.
According to the IYC, more than 120 companies are expected to participate in the fair, offering immediate job placements.

Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav said that it has been the consistent demand of Rahul Gandhi that jobs be given to the unemployed youth, and to overcome this, the party and IYC will organise a job fair in which around 100 major companies will hire over 5,000 unemployed youth.
Mishra said a provision for the job fair has been made in the 2025-26 budget under which a common platform will be created where job-seeking youth and recruiting institutions can directly interact.
On the next day of conclusion of BGBS in Kolkata, investorfriendly Durgapur secured absorption of 350 unemployed youths in a bunch of industrial establishments on a single day at a job fair.
The event was held in collaboration with Bal Mela Committee headed by R S Bali, who is also Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department.
