Ahead of the Assembly elections in Bengal, another reshuffle has taken place in the state police administration, with four IPS officers transferred.
Additional Director General (ADG) of Prayagraj Zone Sanjeev Gupta has been removed from his post and attached to Lucknow.

The sources said that some of the bureaucrats and police officers will be questioned about their assets and would be asked to specify the source of income for the purchase of such assets.
The officers will reach out to farmers and dissuade them from joining the agitation. The leave of all officers in the state has been canceled till October 18.
