Two corona patients died in Ajmer while 413 new positive cases reported in parts of Rajasthan, a medical report said. Fourteen patients have succumbed to Corona infection with co-morbidity in July month alone.
Meanwhile, the State on Friday reported 21 fresh COVID-19 cases at 0.05% test positivity rate as compared to 32 cases in the preceding day, said the health and family welfare department adding that this is the lowest daily infection since almost one year.
While 83 positive cases are from the 0-18 year age group among the new infectees, the recoveries on Wednesday have surpassed the daily cases, marking the steady decline in infection.

Among the new infections, 175 were recorded in the largest city of Auckland, 20 in nearby Waikato, four in Northland, five in Bay of Plenty, and one in the Lakes.
Seven districts- Keonjhar, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal (2 each), Nuapada (5), Malkangiri, Gajapati, Boudh (9 each)- are on the threshold of becoming Covid-free with single-digit active cases.

"These new data point to disturbing trends showing Covid-19 infections leading to lasting cognitive impairment and even Alzheimer's symptoms," said Heather M. Snyder, Alzheimer's Association vice president of medical and scientific relations.
