Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav, said on Friday that the ‘Global Investors Summit’ (GIS) would focus on urban development, as the state offers unique investment opportunities in key areas like Rs 50000 crore in ‘Housing for All’, Rs 17230 crore in essential facilities, and Rs 32400 crore in real estate development.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav announced on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed his participation in the inaugural session of the Global Investors Summit at Bhopal on 24 February, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the summit’s closing session on 25 February.
Dr Mohan Yadav described Madhya Pradesh as a state full of opportunities for industrial activities and investments.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday, said that the investment proposals totaling Rs 40 lakh crore received during last year’s Global Investors Summit, bear testimony to the growing interest of investors from across the globe in the state.
Speaking at the Global Investors Summit, the Union minister said, “ODOP is unique in itself because it is dedicated to Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay who advocated the idea of benefiting even the last person of the society and ODOP fulfils this objective.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has set a goal of making Uttar Pradesh a $1 trillion economy in the next five years.
The chief minister said six G-20 meetings and the upcoming Global Investors Summit are big opportunities for the state to explore opportunities to boost the pharmaceutical industry in order to expand its presence in the global medicine market.
