AAP’ Sanjeev Jha urges Delhi CM to give relief to farmers for damaged crops

Jha, in his letter, urged the CM to provide immediate assistance to the farmers of Burari assembly constituency whose crops were destroyed due to rising water level of Yamuna river, and informed her that the continuous rise in the river's water level has also resulted in water-logging, due to which a large section of farmers’ crops in Burari constituency were submerged, and got damaged.

Farmers need economic security. We cannot afford in this nation, that is rising and the rise is unstoppable and the rise is as never before, to put concerns of farmers on back burner.''
