The brewing cyclonic storm which is anticipated to bring rainfall to the city for the next two days has triggered apprehensions of dengue cases in Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
"Very severe" Cyclonic storm 'Tej' crossed the Yemen coast, and is likely to weaken into a cyclonic storm during the next 6 hours, India Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

The state administration has pressed into action all its resources to minimise the damages caused by the storm.
The weather bureau further said that the sea condition will be very rough and advised fishermen not to venture the sea till June 4.
