"Very severe" Cyclonic storm 'Tej' crossed the Yemen coast, and is likely to weaken into a cyclonic storm during the next 6 hours, India Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka's Department of Meteorology has issued a red warning for fishing boats over strong winds and rough seas in the southeast Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea.
The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for Gangetic West Bengal for the period 9-11 May.
