Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
Kejriwal on Friday had said that the national capital was going through the fourth wave of Covid-19.
The strictest of the measures are in Maharashtra, which is the worst-hit state due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The city had reported 3,567 new cases on April 3, and 3,594 cases on April 2.
