Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
The PIL has been filed by a law student, Vaishnavi Gholave, and a farmer from Maharashtra's Solapur, Mahesh Gadekar.
The Pakistan team is currently under a strict quarantine after which they would travel to Derbyshire on 13 July.
