Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
Ambassador was addressing a large gathering of Beijing-based Indian community at the India House. He also talked about the problems faced by the Indian expatriates in China.
'The Covid-19 has limited our boundaries of personal freedom, but we have to conquer it unitedly with weapons like self-discipline, cleanliness, hygiene and wearing masks,' he said.
The Prime Minister's assurance came at a time when the number of India's Coronavirus cases have crossed the 25 lakh-mark.

As many as 996 people succumbed to the deadly infection in the same period taking the death toll to 49,036.
