Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.

As per the officials, Deputy commissioners have been asked to prepare district-wise micro-plans for vaccination sites, cold chain storage points and logistics requirements by December 7.
