Since Saturday, 362 new COVID-19 cases have been reported from across the country, with two deaths - one each in Kerala and Karnataka.

Other states that have reported significant case numbers include Maharashtra (209), Delhi (104), Gujarat (83), and Karnataka (47).
The total COVID-19 caseload of the country has risen to 4,50,26,261. These also include the JN.1 Covid variant cases.
According to the ministry, Karnataka reported 61 cases, followed by Maharashtra 35 and Kerala 25 cases.
The Covid caseload rose to 4,50,21,383 with the addition of the new cases of infections.
'As of now, it has no impact on the potential of vaccines being developed in our country and which are available in other countries.'
British Health Secretary Matt Hancock had earlier claimed the new variant was "out of control", with British officials saying it was 70 per cent more transmissible than the main strain.
The World Health Organization also called for stronger containment measures across Europe, which has passed 500,000 deaths from Covid-19.
Air India has maintained that no decision has been made yet regarding the ban of flights from the UK.
The Health Ministry in India has called a meeting today of its joint monitoring group on COVID-19 to discuss the crisis.
