The minister gave directions to the civic body agencies as he inspected several garbage hotspots in the Hari Nagar Assembly Constituency, thereby strengthening the government’s efforts to keep the city clean.
The Special Campaign aimed at promoting cleanliness, streamlining work, and addressing pending grievances across the Ministry and its Autonomous Bodies.
Apart from cleanliness activities, considerable effort was made to reduce pendency in public grievances, MP, PMO & state government references, appeals, and parliamentary assurances.
During the campaign carried out at 5,377 locations, several milestones have been achieved. Cantonments promoted the principles of "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” as part of their commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation.
As part of the ongoing “Dilli Ko Kude Se Aazadi” cleanliness campaign, locals in Karol Bagh joined hands with Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials in a plogging drive in the Central Delhi neighbourhood. Donning track pants, gloves, and broomsticks in hand, participants were seen picking up litter and sweeping the streets.
