This progress is reflected in the recent approval of 22 projects under the third phase of the Central Government’s Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), which includes four proposals from the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s residential office here, was attended by senior officials of the state government, the Union coal ministry and subsidiaries of Coal India Limited.
Verma said, “This is not just an inter-state issue. It is a threat to the federal spirit of our democracy and a direct assault on basic human rights.”
