Assam is experiencing a second wave of flooding due to the heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh and several districts within Assam.
The incessant rains have exacerbated the problem, with all major rivers in the state flowing well above the danger mark.
Around 25,000 people across six districts of Assam have been affected by the first wave of floods in the state this year.

There was no report of loss of life so far.
Taking to Twitter, former Congress chief said (in Hindi), 'The entire nation is with Assam. The people of Assam are facing this problem with their nature of grit and self-determination and they will recover from this disaster...'
Meanwhile, at least nine people died in the state till Monday in the current wave of pre-monsoon floods.
