Dismissing a petition filed by late ADM's wife Manjusha, a single bench of Justice Kauser Edapagath directed the Kannur Deputy Inspector General ( DIG) to supervise the ongoing investigation of the Special Investigation Team( SIT).
A single bench of Justice Kausar Edappagam will announce the decision. The petition was filed by Manjusha, Naveen Babu’s wife, who has sought a comprehensive probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into her husband’s death.
The family members and relatives of the victim had submitted a memorandum to the ADM alleging that despite being admitted at local Pithaikeary Health Centre for a long time, the doctors failed to treat silicosis.
