Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, unveiled a statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedkar at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office complex in Hamirpur on Monday.

The genetically modified imported eye ova seed is being reared at Trout Farm Hamni and Batahar in Kullu district, Barot in Mandi district, Thalla in Chamba district, Dhamwari in Shimla district and Sangla in Kinnaur district. These imported eyed ova are reared upto fingerling stage at fish farms and then distributed to trout growers for farming. Some stock is kept in departmental trout farms to prepare brooders for breeding purposes, he added.
Drang MLA Jawahar Thakur who accompanied the team said the Prashar area has been suitable for paragliding activities as the landscape and hills were favourable.
Addressing Seraj students through virtual mode from Shimla, Thakur said since Himachal was constituted there was only one State University in Shimla but due to rigorous efforts of the present government the second State University would be functional in district Mandi from 1st April, 2022.
