Jammu and Kashmir: Migrant labourer from Bihar shot dead by terrorists in Anantnag
The victim, whom the police identified as Raju Sah of Bihar, succumbed to injuries during treatment.
Terrorists and security forces exchanged fire in Jammu-Kashmir’s Bandipora district in the morning of Thursday, 22 February.
The confrontation comes two days after terrorists attacked an Air Force Water Pump House outside the Air Force Station at Malangpora village in Pulwama district.
Police said that the security forces cordoned off Paribal village in Hajin area after intelligence inputs indicated a presence of the terrorists.

The forces were fired at triggering the gunfight. The police said that the exchange of fire is on.
According to reports, an army jawan is believed to have been injured in the firing.
Personnel of the CRPF, Indian Army and Special Operations Group of the J-K Police are involved in the search-and-cordon operation.
On Tuesday, terrorists lobbed grenades and fired indiscriminately at the Water Pump House outside the AFS at Malangpora in south Kashmir. The alertness of the security force personnel prevented the terrorists from inflicting any damage to life or property.
Quick retaliation by the security force personnel forced the terrorists to flee following which a massive search operation was launched.
