National saint, Nepal Kesari Dr. Manibhadra Ji Maharaj, has embarked on the ‘Sarvodaya Shanti Yatra,’ which commenced from Meerut and go to Badrinath Dham.

The two-day leg of the journey is hosted at Patanjali Yogpeeth, where he was greeted by the Patanjali Yogpeeth’s Baba Ramdev.

Baba Ramdev praised Jain Muni Dr. Manibhadra’s stature as a revered saint in Jainism, and emphasised on the exploratory nature of Jain philosophy and its commitment to spiritual and physical purity.

During the event, Jain Muni expressed his familial bond with Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj, the Chancellor of Patanjali University.

He recounted his prior visits to Patanjali Yogpeeth in 2007 and 2011, acknowledging the institution’s expanded service projects under the leadership of Acharya Balkrishna.

Dr. Manibhadra emphasized the significance of environmental preservation and commended Patanjali’s contributions to Ayurvedic research, which have brought about global benefits.

He underscored Patanjali Yogpeeth’s role in integrating various services, including natural medicine, Panchakarma, agriculture, research, cow protection, and industry.

The Jain Muni highlighted the global impact of Patanjali’s services, asserting that true spiritual fulfillment lies beyond self-interest.

Jain Muni Dr. Manibhadra, renowned for his perpetual pilgrimage, spends eight months a year traveling and four months in rest, abstaining from journeys during the Chaturmas period.

His ongoing journey has covered nearly 90,000 kilometers, traversing regions from Kanyakumari to Nepal, with scheduled stops in cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, and Guwahati.
